Volunteers who give freely of their time and talents staff the Beaver Bank Community Policing Office. Each volunteer gives a minimum of 4 hours per week. We have volunteers who have given over 2000 hours of their time.

Some of the duties of the volunteers are to complete identified tasks that include:

If you have four hours a week to spare, why not join our volunteer team. Anyone wishing to apply as a volunteer can do so simply by dropping by the office at 1583 Beaver Bank Rd (Community Centre Complex) or by calling 864-6072 for more information.

Through the efforts of the volunteers, the Beaver Bank office will continue to make community policing a priority.

The office raises its own money which is used to purchase office equipment and/or supplies.

Lapel Pins: The office has lapel pins for sale. If you are a pin collector, please feel free to drop into the office and have a look at them. The office has its own lapel pin, which was designed in September 2000.

Beaver Bank Ball Caps: We are now selling these embroidered “beaver” community souvenirs for gifts.

Commissioners of Oaths: The public can have affidavits sworn or signatures witnessed on legal documents, as some volunteers are Commissioner of Oaths of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. Anyone wishing this service should contact the Beaver Bank office to make an appointment at 864-6072.
